Nearly 75% of applicants have already confirmed their chosen place of study.
This was reported on Facebook by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Mykola Trofymenko, Ukrinform reports.
“According to operational data, as of the morning of August 10, 159,282 applicants for bachelor’s and medical master’s degrees have confirmed their choice of study place. This is almost 75% of all who received recommendations. Among applicants for state-funded places, 66,493 out of 73,129 individuals have already confirmed their choice – almost 91%,” noted Trofymenko.
He added that the final deadline for confirming a study place is 6 PM on August 11.
By this time, it is necessary to confirm the choice of study place in the electronic cabinet using a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) or in person at the higher education institution and conclude a study agreement.
This year, a study agreement can be signed directly in the electronic cabinet for the first time. The option to do so at the educational institution also remains available. A study agreement is concluded by applicants for state-funded places; a payment agreement pertains to contract-based study.
Enrollment for state-funded places will continue until August 13 inclusive. After the order is formed, the application status will change to “Included in the order.”
Information about enrollment should be checked in the applicant’s electronic cabinet or on the ЄДЕБО website. Official data is published there.
From August 14, applicants who have not confirmed or received recommendations for contract-based study during the automatic distribution will be able to receive them for vacant contract places. Enrollment for such applications will continue until August 30.
As Ukrinform reported, over 212,000 applicants received recommendations for enrollment in bachelor’s programs. According to the Ministry of Education and Science, university applicants most often choose management, psychology, and philology. The demand for computer science, cybersecurity, and certain specialties with special state support is also growing.
