Hammer thrower Michael Kokhan triumphed at the competition in Poznan 29.06.2026 13:20 Ukrinform Ukrainian hammer thrower Michael Kokhan emerged victorious at the Silver Series competition of the World Athletics Tour held in Poznan (Poland).
The Ukrainian athlete secured the top position in his second attempt, launching the implement to 77.85 meters. Kokhan subsequently improved his mark twice more, ultimately achieving a distance of 77.99 meters, as reported by Ukrinform.
The second place in the hammer throw competition was claimed by Poland’s Paweł Fajdek (77.47 meters), and third place went to Thomas Mardal from Norway (76.95 meters).
As previously reported by Ukrinform, in his preceding event in Zagreb (Croatia), Michael earned a silver medal with a throw of 81.42 meters. This performance ranked as his fourth-best career result.
