This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
“Today was a special and substantive meeting with Friedrich Merz. We discussed exactly how to make our efforts even more active and stronger. Before the bilateral negotiations, we saw seven types of drones produced by our joint enterprises. Six of them are aerial and one is ground-based. This is a significant result of our cooperation, and it is important that there will be more. Today, we have new cooperation agreements – a total of ten agreements. In the most important areas,” Zelenskyy noted.
He emphasized that Germany is a tangible leader in supporting Ukraine and the number one country in providing defense assistance.
“It is of great significance that Germany remains strong, caring, and truly capable of defending the interests of Europe and Europeans,” the President stressed.
As Ukrinform reported, on April 14, Ukraine and Germany signed two documents on cooperation within the framework of intergovernmental consultations. Specifically, a document concerning cooperation between the Federal Ministry of Defence of Germany and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine was concluded. A declaration of intent on supporting industrial recovery and resilience was also signed between the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany and the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.
