The Ukrainian team holds the 32nd position among 211 national associations in April, Ukrinform reports.
Following the release of the previous register, Serhii Rebrov’s squad has slipped two places (overtaken by 2026 World Cup participants Egypt and Norway).
The “blue-yellows'” coefficient of 1546.88 points is the 15th best among European teams.
France leads the FIFA rankings, with Spain in second place and Argentina positioned third.
The top 10 also includes England, Portugal, Brazil, the Netherlands, Morocco, Belgium, and Germany.
As previously reported, the Ukrainian team failed to qualify for the World Cup, losing in the play-off semi-final to Sweden (1-3).
Recall, the final tournament of the XXIII FIFA World Cup, involving 48 teams, will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, in Canada, Mexico, and the USA.
