Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an electronics production plant for ‘Iskander’ and Kh-101 missiles in Voronezh with missiles Photos, video 22.06.2026 13:17 Ukrinform Ukrainian Defense Forces units carried out a missile strike on a plant producing electronics for Russian ‘Iskander’ operational-tactical missile systems and Kh-101 missiles in Voronezh.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
On Monday, June 22, units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck an enterprise manufacturing components for Russian missiles in Voronezh.
High-precision air-launched cruise missiles were used for the strike.
This enterprise is a critical element of the Russian military-industrial complex. It manufactures electronics used in Russian missiles, including for the ‘Iskander’ operational-tactical missile system.
Furthermore, as part of cooperation, the plant is involved in the production and supply of electronic component bases for Russian missile armament and air defense systems. Specifically, it produces transistor assemblies and matrices for the control units of Kh-101 cruise missiles; semiconductor matrices for the onboard digital computers ‘Zarya-61M’ within the 9M727 missiles of the ‘Iskander-K’ operational-tactical missile system; and diodes and transistor assemblies for the television guidance channels of ‘Pantsir-S1’ anti-aircraft missile systems.
The products of this plant are directly used for the manufacturing of high-precision guided weapons, which Russian invaders employ to strike Ukrainian territory and kill civilians.
The destruction of the facility’s capacities will significantly impair Russia’s ability to produce new missiles, the General Staff emphasized.
Voronezh residents on social media report seeing a column of black smoke in the city and are publishing photos and videos.
Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and volunteer Serhii Sternenko also posted a video on social network X showing the aftermath of the attack in Voronezh.
“In Voronezh, missiles attacked the ‘Sborka’ semiconductor device plant. A large-scale fire is observed at the impact site,” he noted.
We have a treat happening here (as if).
