Ukrainian Post issued a stamp dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Antonov Design Bureau Photo 02.06.2026 18:33 Ukrinform JSC “Ukrposhta” has prepared a postage stamp and a postal block for the anniversary of the Ukrainian state aviation enterprise “Antonov”. This was reported by the company’s press service, Ukrinform reports. “Ukrposhta presented the postage stamp and postal block “80 years of JSC “Antonov”. The Design Strength of Ukraine” – for the anniversary of the Ukrainian state aviation enterprise, which designed the legendary An-225 “Mriya” and An-124 “Ruslan,” the statement reads.
The author of the illustrations is the Ukrainian artist Andriy Yermolenko. For the art card, he created a plot-dream of millions of Ukrainians: a peaceful sky, in which the An-225 flies again over native fields and blooming gardens. The postage stamp tells the story of Ukrainian aviation through the figure of its founder. Against the backdrop of a blue sky, Oleg Antonov is depicted, along with his handwritten drawings and personal signature. Nearby are legendary aircraft: from the designer’s first developments to the world-renowned “Ruslan,” “Mriya,” and the newest An-178. The girl in the picture with a drawing and the boy launching a model airplane symbolize the new generation of Ukrainians who will not only remember the history of Ukrainian wings but also continue it.
